Product Description:
BTA Deep Hole Drilling is a method used to drill very deep and straight holes in metal parts, usually when the hole is much deeper than its diameter. It is named after the Boring and Trepanning Association.
In this process, high-pressure coolant flows around the outside of a special drill tube, goes to the cutting area, and pushes the chips (metal pieces) out through the center of the drill. This makes the drilling clean, fast, and accurate.
BTA drilling is often used in industries like oil & gas, aerospace, and hydraulic systems to make deep holes in things like gun barrels, hydraulic cylinders, and machine parts. It works best for hole diameters above 20 mm and is known for high speed and smooth, straight holes.
